Communicating what you want
As mentioned above, if you are an employee, your employer is part of your team.
- Have you let them know what you want?
- Do you want career advancement and a career path? Or are you happy in your current role, and not interested in climbing the ladder?
- Do you want to work more with your clients or customers, or do you want more of a “behind the scenes” role?
Perhaps you have tried out a few roles, to discover that what you actually want is what you were doing a few years ago.
If so, let your team know about it.
