Communicating what you want
In regards to your investing team;
- Do you want someone to manage your money and make investment decisions for you?
- Or do you want to make the investment decisions yourself?
- Do you want somewhere in the middle where an adviser or two gives you a few choices to choose between?
- Do you want someone who will help you set financial goals, and meet with you regularly to see how you are progressing?
- If so, do you want this person to “gently encourage” you to make the appropriate changes, and take appropriate action, or do you want someone who takes a more “authoritarian and enforceful approach”?
